Public Health England has warned that obesity is becoming "the norm" because some of our children are eating the equivalent of an extra meal a day.

This is an interesting one, I agree that counting calories can be dangerous and addictive and not something we should introduce to children - I believe Kids should cut down to takeaway and unhealthy snacks especiallly at home and the rest will fall into place

ReplyDeleteI agree with you on this I was brought up to cook with fresh ingredients. The amount of people these days that can't cook unless it's out of a tin or packet is shocking. There is too much convenience food out there and yes we all eat it but at least some of us can cook from basic and this should be taught in the schools as a priority.
ReplyDelete‘Home Economics’ (is that even still a term these days?) is such a wonderful life skill. No question.
