Randy Pausch

Hi all,

Thank you for your comments on Randy Pausch's Last Lecture that we watched in class today.

Here is the shortened version we watched today: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1CEhH5gnvg

Here is the full version should you want to watch the original delivery: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ji5_MqicxSo

The version Oprah Winfrey talks about has now been viewed over 18 million times. Quite a legacy. It is worth dipping in and out of the full talk, where Pausch fleshes out a lot of the points made in the diminished version we viewed. And observe the emotion at the end, fully deserved adoration for a great man.

As always, any comments you wish to share can be noted below, please keep them coming!

  3. It can sometimes be difficult to process this talk when you already know the full context of the man's life. But there can be no doubt that Professor Pausch had extremely important things to say. We should all be grateful for the legacy that he leaves.
