  1. Comms is one of my highlights. It takes me out of my comfort zone which is daunting but exciting at the same time. As a lecturer , one of my favourites love getting involved in discussions and hearing differing opinions and even getting involved in 'sometimes heated' debates! and I'm not saying it to get an A either 😂 Shhh don't tell anyone I said that !!!

  2. I am enjoying the class a lot. I enjoy the discussions, the subject matter is thought provoking and interesting and I enjoy the energy, enthusiasm and knowledge you bring to the class. It is a big help when you can see that the lecturer is enjoying what they are doing and is passionate about your learning. Looking forward to what the rest of the semester will bring!

  3. I agree with what Laura mentions about your passion for teaching. You brought that energy into the class from day one, which has set the vibe for the whole year. The extra effort you put into your students with the blog shows your willingness to go above and beyond. I am pleased to have received you as a lecturer as I find you approachable and you keep the class engaged - which is so important! Your effort is appreciated.

  4. I really enjoy the positive energy you bring to class! I feel empowered when you are teaching and greatful that you give us the oppertunity to speak freely without judgment. I love comms and english in general but when you have a lecturer thats rooting for you it makes it all the better ☺. The classes have been varied which I enjoy. Im looking forward to the rest of the year so Thank-you

  5. I have always taught the way I would wish to be taught. I also think that having different lecturers with different styles of engagement on your Programme is good for all learners. What I do hope to achieve though, is clarity in what we are doing as a class and why. And yes, everybody has an equal voice. We don't always need to agree with each other though, and that's the real trick!

  9. Personally, when it comes down to being taught, I find that having a lecturer who is enthusiastic about the subject is important. Instead of sitting in a dull class, staring in to space, you make communication very interesting and upbeat so I thank you for that because I find it very hard to concentrate otherwise - Emma HP 😉
